We haven’t really met yet, so let me tell you a little about myself…

I am a Level III Certified Regulatory Vendor Program Manager with over 20 years of experience in project management across several industries including: education, CPG, building products, and banking/mortgage. I excel at leading cross-functional teams to successful on time and on budget accomplishments. That’s what I do.

I can get the job done most anywhere, and I am looking for a place with a crew of smart, diverse, people who are not afraid to take chances. I enjoy being able to count on my team to have the knowledge and resources to do the job, and the guts and ambition to figure it out when we don’t have all the answers and things still need to get done. And it always helps when I can look around the office and see some people that look like me. Those are the kinds of environments where I really thrive.

Outside my work life I have four pretty constant passions…

I’ve travelled all over, and worked in a couple other places (Omaha and Pittsburgh) – but Nashville is my home. It’s where my roots are, and it’s the city I love. I did my undergrad and post-graduate studies at Vanderbilt (BA/English & MBA). I still try to make time to mentor the undergrads there. I love to go downtown and see a show or concert at TPAC or the Schermerhorn Center – or get a bite at the Germantown Cafe. I love to take a walk though the greenways or lounge by Percy Priest Lake. At the end of a particularly rough week, I might just grab cocktails on the rooftop at ACME. No matter what, Nashville is where I unwind.

I don’t watch much TV but I do enjoy movies, and I enjoy reading science-fiction books with strong, black female lead characters.

Over the last few months, I have been busy "KonMori-an" my closets, learning new recipes and cooking homemade meals; traveling with friends and family, organizing a reunion for my hometown, and taking various cardio dance workout classes. I’ve enjoyed the chance to recharge but – I am a goal-oriented, "make-it-happen" person; I’m ready to push up my sleeves and get to work.

Random add....I love love love Excel. Seriously. It’s a passion. I make spreadsheets for almost everything in my personal and professional life – agenda, budget, packing lists and events for vacation. This usually leads to me being the designated planner on group trips, so I’ll generally put together a document with links and resources. Excel gets [redacted] done. Just like me, that’s why I love it; but you’ll learn that and more when we talk face to face.

I can’t wait to meet you,
